Steven Tersigni, M.D.
Dr. Tersigni is currently completing his cornea and refractive fellowship training here at Chu Vision Institute under the mentorship of Dr. Chu. Dr. Tersigni received his undergraduate degree from the University of Oregon and received a master’s degree in public health from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, where he focused his studies on global health systems. He received his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. Dr Tersigni completed his ophthalmology residency at the Ross Eye Institute at the University of Buffalo. He has a special interest in cataract, refractive, corneal and glaucoma surgery, and he has a passion for global health and providing care for underserved populations. Dr. Tersigni has been published in national journals for his research and has authored content for medical educational books and websites. Dr. Tersigni speaks Vietnamese and in his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife and five children.
